Camera Operator/ Production Assistant & Website Content Editor/ Media Encoder (Full Time)

NOTE: Training will be provided for all skills pertaining to this position.

God's Learning Channel is hiring for a Camera Operator and Production Assistant. Primary duties include camera operation& web content editing.
Duties include:

  • Setting up equipment for program taping

  • Properly framing and capturing talent using proper techniques with camera and related equipment

  • Responding quickly to directions

  • Update database entries and information for company website

  • Encode and upload videos for company website

Preferred Skills (but not required):

  • Moderate computer skills with Windows-based platforms

  • Expertise with non-linear video editing software

  • Experience in a live broadcast production environment

  • Understanding of broadcast directing and/or program production

  • The ability to be a team player and demonstrate the necessary skills for effective communication

  • Expertise with basic data entry software such as MS Word, Excel, Access and Office

  • Experience with online databases

  • Experience with some form of a website content management system

  • A working knowledge of basic data entry

  • Experience with various types of media encoding, with an emphasis on web-friendly video formats

  • Knowledge of uploading content to web servers

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Microsoft Expression Encoder

  • PHPMyAdmin

  • Win SCP
